Ingredients

  • 1 roll shortcrust pastry
  • 60g butter
  • 60g honey
  • 120g maple syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 60g single cream
  • 90g brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150g pecans

Method

  1. Unroll the shortcrust pastry and place it in a greased 24 cm tart tin or on a perforated rack. Prick the base of the tart with a fork to prevent it from puffing up during precooking.
  2. Place the tin in the appliance. Start cooking using the fresh pizza function for 8min at 170 degrees, to pre-bake the pastry. Check that the pastry does not puff up and prick it with a fork if necessary.
  3. Melt the butter in a recipient in the microwave. Add the honey, maple syrup and eggs. Whisk until smooth, then add the cream, sugar and salt. Mix well and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Place the walnuts on the base of the tart, stir the mixture and then pour over the walnuts.
  4. Place the tart in the appliance. Start cooking using the fresh pizza function for 20min at 160 degrees.
  5. Halfway through baking, open the handle with both hands to check that it is cooked and turn the tart if necessary to ensure even cooking.
  6. Once cooked, open the handle with both hands, carefully remove the tart and leave to cool on a wire rack before unmoulding.
