Features tender, air-fried chicken coated in a sweet and savory orange-hoisin glaze. Perfectly paired with rice or noodles for a delicious meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken thighs diced and coated in corn flour
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 60ml Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp soft brown sugar
  • 60ml Orange juice (or 10 ml orange juice concentrate)
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 Tbsp cold water
  • 1 tbsp cornflour

Method

  1. Coat the diced chicken in cornflour then arrange in your air fryer.
  2. Spry with olive oil then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  3. Air fry in 2 batches at 200°C for 20 minutes, shaking halfway.

While the chicken is cooking:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the soy sauce, sugar, Hoisin, garlic and orange juice for 4 minutes.
  2. Then thicken with the mixed water and cornflour.
  3. Toss the chicken pieces in the sauce ensuring each piece is coated.
  4. Serve with fragrant rice or noodles.
