Lemonade Scones

Lemonade Scones | Tefal Recipe

Fluffy, golden scones made with lemonade and cream, baked to perfection in an air fryer. Serve warm with jam and dollop cream.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 tsp butter, for greasing
  • 3 cups self-raising flour, sifted
  • 1 cup thickened cream
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • Pinch of salt
  • Milk, to glaze
  • Strawberry jam, to serve
  • Dollop cream, to serve

Method

  1. Grease a tray with butter
  2. Place the flour, cream, lemonade and salt in a large mixing bowl and with a butter knife carefully mix the ingredients together until the dough forms.
  3. Tip out onto a floured surface and press out to a thickness of about 2-3cm.
  4. Using a cookie cutter (approx. 6cm width), cut out the scones.
  5. Place them close together on the tray and then glaze them with a little milk.
  6. Bake the scones in the Tefal Air Fryer using the cake function at 180C for 12-18 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with jam and dollop cream.
